Exemplar Prep

Get the SIE app on Android before it is public

The Exemplar Prep app is finished and in a closed test on Google Play. Testers get the whole app free: lessons, practice questions with a reason for every answer, and timed 75-question practice forms. The app needs Android 8.0 or later.

Two ways to join

Easiest

Leave your email. We do the rest.

We add you to the test and email the install link, usually within a few hours.

Google Play accepts only Google accounts. We use this address only to add you to the test and to email you about it. We delete it 30 days after the Android app is public. Privacy

What we ask

Three small things

Google lets a new app go public only after 12 testers have kept it for 14 days in a row.

  1. If you can, keep the app installed for 14 days. It helps the app go public. You can still leave at any time.
  2. Open it when you study. A few minutes is enough.
  3. Tell us what is wrong. Reply to our email, or write to support@exemplarprep.com.

Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. The beta is free, and we do not ask for payment details.

Which email should I use?

The Google account that is signed in to Google Play on your phone, usually your Gmail address. Google Play knows testers only by their Google account.

Google Play says I am not a tester

Your phone uses a different Google account than the one you gave us. In Google Play, tap your profile picture and switch accounts, or use the 2 steps above with the account on your phone.

Do I need an Exemplar Prep account?

No. You can study without one. An account is optional and keeps your study in step across devices.

Can I keep what I studied on the website?

Yes. On the website, open Support and choose Download my study record. In the app, open You (the profile button at the top), tap Import a study record and pick that file. Importing replaces the study record on your phone.

Or sign in with the same account on the website and in the app, and turn on account sync in both. Each one asks whether to add the study already saved there.

I have an iPhone

Get the iPhone and iPad app on the App Store.

How do I leave the test?

Open the Google Play opt-in page, tap Leave the program, then uninstall the app.

What do you do with my email?

We use it only for the beta, and delete it 30 days after the app is public.

Know someone studying for the SIE?

Send them this page. Every tester brings the public app closer.
