Help, content reports and accessibility
Reports you send go privately to the content owner and are stored by the report service. This page shows whether each report was received and what happened to it.
Contact us
For help with the website or the iPhone, iPad or Android app, email support@exemplarprep.com. The owner reads every message. There is no live chat and no promised response time. Please do not send passwords or exam registration details.
Report a content problem
Every question has a Report an issue control. Send report keeps your note in your study record and sends it privately with the question reference and the answer you had selected. Save note only keeps it on this device and sends nothing. No account is needed to send.
How reports are handled
- A report shows as received only after the service stores it. Until then it stays saved here and retries.
- Sending the same report again never creates a duplicate.
- The owner reviews each report against primary sources. A fix is published as a named correction in a release, linked below.
- A report does not change or remove a question by itself, and there is no promised response time.

Published corrections
- corr-2026-09-27-ca-11-p02 release v52 · CA-11-P02 The correct answer now says the representative may choose only the time or price of this specified order, and only for that day. It previously gave no time limit.
- corr-2026-09-27-lc-auth-01 release v52 · LC-AUTH-01 Choice A now states the whole exception: the customer fixed the security, buy or sell and quantity, and the representative chose only the time or price that business day.
- corr-2026-09-27-lc-own-03 release v52 · LC-OWN-03 Rewritten to ask what investment discretion needs: prior written customer authorization naming the person, and written acceptance by the firm. The old version implied only a representative can hold discretion.
- corr-2026-09-27-ca-01-p01 release v52 · CA-01-P01 Choice B no longer ties full payment to the settlement date. It now states the cash-account full-payment rule, which is separate from settlement.
- corr-2026-09-27-ca-01-d01 release v52 · CA-01-D01 The question now states a new account buying ordinary marginable stock with no higher firm requirement. The explanation separates Regulation T initial equity from FINRA minimum equity and firm requirements.
- corr-2026-09-27-lc-mnt-03 release v52 · LC-MNT-03 Now asks for the equity deficiency under the 25 percent long maintenance floor, and explains that a firm may call for funds or sell without contacting the customer first.
- corr-2026-09-27-lc-mrg-01 release v52 · LC-MRG-01 The 50 percent Regulation T requirement is now stated for a new purchase of ordinary marginable long stock, not every margin purchase.

Accessibility
The target is WCAG 2.2 AA. Practice and the diagnostic can be completed from the keyboard: 1–4 or A–D select an answer and Enter checks or advances. Every diagram carries a text alternative, color is never the only signal, and motion is limited and respects a reduced-motion preference. If something blocks you, tell us below.

Frequently asked
Is this affiliated with FINRA?
No. Exemplar Prep is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by FINRA, the SEC, MSRB or NASAA.
Will this tell me whether I will pass?
No. Practice scores show your accuracy on one set of questions. They are for study and do not predict your exam result.
Can I create an account?
You can sign in with Google or an email and password from Study account and choose to save a copy of your record. You can choose automatic account sync. Signing in does not import browser history. An account with sync already on loads its own record after identity is checked.
How do I get help with the iPhone, iPad or Android app?
The apps work offline and need no account. Your study is saved only on your device: export or import it, or erase it, from the app’s You page. A report you save from a question in the app stays on your device. To send one to the owner, use Report an issue on the same question on this site, the accessibility form above, or email support@exemplarprep.com. See Privacy for what the app keeps.
Where do the facts come from?
Official sources only: the FINRA content outline and exam page, FINRA rules, SEC and eCFR rule text, FinCEN requirements, SIPC and FDIC. Every mutable number carries the source and the date it was checked.
Why do some lessons say Planned?
Because they are. Each planned lesson already has its objective mapping, governing rule, closest contrast and misconception, but the full teaching sequence is not written yet. Saying so is more useful than a placeholder.
